Dependent people need others to get what they want. Independent people can get what they want through their own efforts. Interdependent people combine their own efforts with the efforts of others to achieve their greatest success.

People should help people, but it must not turn into dependence. Abusing your power, or position to get people do what you want is like allowing someone else live your life, because you can barely do a thing without their contribution. Independent people, on the other hand, do everything on their own, rely only on their abilities, but whenever you combine your skills, willingness, and energy with those of others you can reach your greatest success, and you are thus called an interdependent person. As a conclusion, two minds working together is way better than one.
