Similarly, don’t keep all your money in one pocket; distribute it about your person. Than if a pick-pocket deprives you of your notecase on a crowded train, he does not rub your of all your have. Again, when investing your capital, do not venture the whole amount in a single speculation, but spread it over several. If one fails, you will still have the money safely invested in the others.
