Many hands make light work
The more people there are to carry out a task, the less each has to do, and the more quickly is the work finished. It has been said that this proverb is contradicted by Too many cooks spoil the broth, but, to quote another saying, Circumstances alter cases. There is a difference between, say, six people picking blackberries in the garden and the same six making jam of them in the kitchen.
